In today fast-moving business environment, keep track of shipment is essential for efficient order fulfilment, operation transparency and customer satisfaction. Keeping track of shipments is key to ensuring customers get their orders on time and your team stay informed.

Before using a shipment tracking functionality user must define a Shipping Agents on shipment agent page with code, description and packing tracking URL. The URL will provide tracking functionality, using the package number as parameter.

As every shipping agent have different tracking URL so for creating new shipping agent please contract their company regarding the proper URL.

Suppose a user receives a customer's order, and a designated shipping agent to handles the shipment. There are two methods to record shipment information in the sales order to monitor the order status. The first way is to create the sales order by selecting the shipping agent and entering the tracking number in the Shipping and Billing section.

Inputting these details after the sales shipment is posted is an additional choice, as tracking information is frequently generated at later stage. The user can add the tracking information in these situations by visiting the Posted Sales Shipment page and click on Update Document.

To track shipment details, the user can navigate to the Posted Sales Shipments list page and navigate to Actions > Functions > Track Package. Alternatively, user can open a specific Posted Sales Shipment document and click on Track Package. Upon clicking, the system redirects to the tracking website with the tracking number pre-filled, displaying all relevant shipment information linked to that number.
